Novice surfer, been dipping into surfing the last couple of years, but really got into it this summer in Bali - 2 months of surfing! Yeah!! My fave surfer so far is Taj Burrow, love his style and innovation!

LOL! I just found out that i got Off-Shore & On-Shore winds totally mixed up. A surfer in Bali told me OFF-SHORE was when the wind was blowing in to land from off-shore (the Sea)! Damn I should have wiki'd it!! LOL! Ok I got it straight now! On shore winds - coming from the sea onto the beach/land. Off shore winds - coming from the beach/land towards the sea. Right?!
I'm a new surfer, just spent 2 months in Bali. Really enjoying the learning experience. Soooo happy to see they have a surf report for Big Wave Bay as Hong Kong isn't the most surfer friendly place to live, at least I can see if the waves are suitable to me before I leave home. Great website, Thanks!!
