I cant see any sign of a boot on his back foot which makes my think its and ankle support. I guess you are too much of a man to use a support if you have an ankle injury too?

True. 1:43 fist wave ridden. Looks lovely but next time not so much art in a short clip when it should have been focused on the surf comp!

Would have been nice to see video of the guys paddling.

Is he on a ski or been towed in? I cant see any trace of his travels on the face of the wave! Looks odd but i think its safe to say if i was in his position i would have let a little poop slip out when looking back!!
