The editing is good... your surfers do suck tho. come over to long beach and film the crew. I mean you gotta get some good surfing into a surf video dont you???
Agreed, I don't know most of the surfers on this video, there just people that surf the area. I'll be at long Sat-Mon this week to see what the system draws up. Love to film better rides if you've got the confidence. Everyone knows Gloucester/Rockport has inconsistent waves and brutal close-outs but I'm trying to capture the essence of a surf spot where people don't care it's not Cali or the North Shore, regardless of the situation people still come to these beaches, and that's what surfing is about "who cares and ride what you can"

Good reply to lurkin... who obviously doesn't get it. I liked the video and appreciate that you took the time to shoot and edit something that was NOT about the biggest/best break or world class surfers. You made it clear this was about a local spot and people who have enough passion to get out there in all sorts of conditions. BTW..Sometimes we do see overhead and clean too. And this guy's idea that Long Beach is some sort of haven for hot surfers is total B.S.! I am sure that most of the people in ther video surf at Long Beach too, depending on tide and wind direction. And most of the locals I know travel and do just fine on waves all over the world.
gloucester rockport might have some "brutal" close outs but thats because your surfing the wrong spots in the wrong conditions. thats why i made my negitive comment. hoping it will spark you to make better films in better spots... i could care less about "blowing up spots" and i agree get out there and surf as much as possible
