Have to say the jet ski's were a little anoying/unnecessary. Good days surf though & the vid to remind us all kind of makes up for it. Hoping, like many, for a extra meter or two on next weeks swell.

Awesome vid. Gives credit to how amazing the day was. I was at watergate at first light and it was sick. 30 hour paddle out though. Bring on Monday and Tuesday next week!!
You are right. You could paddle into them and they should have been. At first light it was alot bigger and i was out at south fistral, paddling into it without any problem with a few other guys. Oh, and as for the video being cribbar,.... get a grip. The video was shot from middle to north fistral. Only 2 waves on the video were cribbar. The one the guy couldn't get into and the last one. Both breaking onto the rocks. Notice the sand on the inside of the other waves, and the length of ride. Nothing like cribbar. There is no sand on cribbar. There were some guys paddling into north fistral who were trying to avoid getting run over!
ogreeny why are you being negative about a sick day and a sick video, i think your the one who need to 'get a grip' which by the way is a ridiculous saying that means nothing.
get a grip means to "get a grip on reality". Claiming that fistral is the mighty cribbar is not quite reality. I thought tow surfers were suppose to stay away from lineups where paddle surfers (bodyboard, longboard and so on). The fact that they were towing into the beach break at fistral the night before and wed was confusing. The whole beach had people paddling in without any problem. The wed,..... that was pure lazy. It was not even that big. Oh, and lsd, it was not ment to sound quite as hard as it did. Nice to see you editied things. It truely was a sick day. I was glad to be part of. Even happier that i got in at first light and avoided the crowds.
