The WPS have recently teamed with The Skin Cancer Foundation to help spread the prevention message around the globe. Because as far as occupational hazards go, skin cancer is the big daddy-o, presenting a far greater chance of death than kissing the reef at Pipe or being munched by a toothy shark. The boys on tour are some of the most sun aware surfers on the planet, they have to be, spending four hours of each day in the ocean means sun damage is inevitable, but serious sun damage is definitely preventable.
