hey paul, i'm an jersey guy that frequents Oregon. I still havent made it to the coast to explore the surf, i hear its pretty rad. any suggestions?

There are some good spots here.. this is one of them. it's really named Oswald West state park or Short Sands.. also under cannon beach is a spoalled SeaSide - thats another good spot.. but like most spots it is very weather dependent. these are mostly sand bar breaks but by the rocks gets good on off shore wind days.
It was a great beach day not a very good surf day so.. go-pro, allways a good day when surfing with my son. Oregon is an Awe inspriring area. Having grown up in Hawaii and spending about 35+ years there, I can say.. Oregon is a Great place if you can take all the rain and cold thru winter & spring.
