Why folks think they own the sea is boyond me. Perhaps it's because you've never actually left tour own street. Lets face it some of these northern caostal towns need a good tourist industry. Don't get being aggressive to noobs either. We all started somewhere. If everyone follows eticate and shows respect for where they are things work out like peas in a pod. If your angry about this stuff you're sound more perochial than local.

on my part maybe not a great idea to put up one of our gems on the net, but lets face it mostly locals know where this spot is and due to its nature only a dedicated bunch surf it anyways. And is the hostility towards out of town surfers justified, its down to the growing popularity of surfing on the east coast mostly from out of town surfers that we now have numerous surf shops where us locals can obtain all of our surfing equiptment without getting stuff delivered from the south west. look at the bigger picture and dont forget we're all lucky to be surfers. Peace and unity.
Fair point English - Like all surfres, I am only hostile to muppets, most of whom are in all honsety, dudes who live miles from the coast. Peace and unity - and stop you colleagues dishing out tickets to surfers!!!

Well said Roger - 'Dappy' You obvioulsy have no idea what your talking about if you A) think thats marine drive B) thinks its cool to try and find secret spots and reveal their location on the web. C) have a name like dappy. Just stay in west yorkshire where you belong and leave the waves to actual surfers you 2 bit kook.

dude chill....we all love to surf .....no need for bad vibes and slagging off.....come on if u met each other in a pub under different surcumstances talking about surf bet u 2 would get on...hes only taking the piss sure he ment nothing by it..... as for the land lovers comment...im from cambridge aint much surf on the cam...so go to cromer east runton ...or devon or cornwall..been surfing 15 years...im an old one started when i was late 20's..surfed in maui...portugal...france..oz...spain....ireland....indo....just cause im "landy" person who isnt fortunate enough to live near a break or the sea lol....does this make me unworthy of surfing.........ive never had an argument on the waves...always have respect for the locals......even in maui where everyone at breaks give my english white arse a bad look by the end im cool with all........life is too short to get all bad arse on interenet forums...especially over our subject that is the ocean and surfing ..we should feel at peace and love our sport and others enjoying the same buzz.

Hi English man, that looks like a sweet spot!! im form leeds havent surfed it before but i know where it is, its the marine drive. ill have a look next time im through, keep posting them vids!!!
