Finishing in the top 40 of last year's WQS, it's likely a short matter of time before Pablo Paulino da Silva is on the main stage.
Raised in the Titanzinho favelas of Fortaleza, Pablo may have lacked money but certainly not inspiration as he looked up to locals like Fabio Silva and Tita Tavares.
He had his first World Junior Title at 16, and his second - claimed last month in Sydney - at 20. Only one other surfer has pulled off this dual feat, and that's Parko.
