I visit rhosilli to surf quite frequent and see this all the time I applaud you for your efforts.
Mainly disposable bbq and beer cans/bottles. I would never dream of littering but your video shows me thats simply not enough. next time im there i'll be looking to give something back and rope in a few friends to do some picking up.
It is truly unfortunate that this still goes on today. I remember spending more time at gennith than in my house as a nipper in the 70's and we would regularly do a rubbish collection on a flat day. Rubbish is bad enough but glass in the dunes is a nightmare. There should be on the spot fines for this kind of littering.
Its such a bloody shame, people who live on Gower espect the area and know how beautiful it is. Its people from out of Gower that have no respect!! I have found all sorts on the beaches in the area, some items which would cause serious harm to children and young people as well as adults, pets etc. Please please respect our coastline!! You look after it and it will look after you!!
Hip Hip Hooray! you're unsung heroes. It makes me f^%$*& sick finding glass in the dunes, me, my daughters and my dogs have all been cut in the last couple of years. It's shocking how dumb, irresponsible & selfish some people can be, honestly, smashing bottles aint big, aint hard & aint clever, please don't do it or allow your mates to do it, please.
