Thank for putting up that chilled video... sweet music, I surf Ballybunion/Kerry and inch/cork almost exclusively and it’s great to see someone went to the trouble of putting up a video. And as for some of the comments made by some so called surfer...get a life, the day ye believe the sea is just for surfers is the day ye have forgotten what the surfing vibe is all about and i fell sorry for ye.

I know that's not exactly a secret spot but I have never seen any of the surfers, who submitt photos, name the spot, at least they know enough to keep it to themselves, and the guys I've seen boating there generally stall off the back of every wave, wasting good waves that a surfer would make good use of.
Ya but some people figured out that you can stand on a board and utilize the wave to its full potential. I suppose people who cant surf need to enjoy themselves too. Bring on the Hurricane swells!

I Have a surf kayak and board etc etc. but idiots who don't know any etiquite should not be on the water. That goes for surfers, Kayakers and any other idiots out there. I usually get dropped in on more by beginner board surfers then anything else.
As long as we all know the rules and actually follow them and not act like spoilt children then there is more then enough waves to go around.
Besides surfing roots actually descend from Polynesian Islanders surfing there fishing canoes.....Long before any boards were developed!

I ski too (well actually I skiboard)... skiers & boarders don't mix either.
Skiers & boarders travel down a mountain in completly different ways & skiers do it more gracefully...
I have to admit, kayakers are the snowboarders of the sea...
