Born to the sounds of dancehall and dub reggae in St Barts in the Caribbean, Tim grew up on a yacht with his Irish father and French mother. He became a champion sailor as a child and skittered around the planet, navigating by the stars, catching fish with his bare hands and basically living the life of a Jimmy Buffet song.
