Surf conditions at 7.15 a.m. on Easter Sunday 2013:
And for this Easter Sunday, we have for you one pumping swell, mixed with very light offshore winds, a Spring tide and an empty beach. The weather is not as bad as the forecasts either, a little duller than yesterday but much milder than the day before.
So, with solid six foot plus surf rolling onto the Reef and pushing some peeling walls across the bay, the RNLI Lifeguards may be feeling it a little fortuitous that they are working the beach this Easter weekend!
Boards out wax up and enjoy!
With the long Easter weekend upon us, we have been busily opening boxes of exciting goodies, getting stocked for what is turning out to be a weekend of great surf with chilly but crisp and dry and bright weather.
We still have loads of warm and snuggly beanies and jackets which can go out at bargain prices and we do still have a selection of Winter wetsuits, boots, gloves and hoodies for you, not forgetting the groms! We have a range of youth's winter wetsuits, with all those new summer suits just about to arrive too!
So why not drop in on us this Easter holiday, we might just have something to tempt you!
