0ft Strong Cross-Shore wind
Surf conditions at 6.45 a.m. on Thursday 4th April 2013: Nah, it's flat and choppy today! There's no swell to push around the headland and the north easterly wind isn't north enough to even push a bit of wind slop onto the beach, so it is pretty bad around here this morning. Which is a shame because otherwise it's looking really quite pleasant with that big sunrise lighting up the valley behind and burnishing the still fairly rapidly running stream. It might be a nice place for a wander later if you're on holiday? Park in the beach car park, a walk along the beach or the coast path and then lunch in the pub! You might even get a bit of sun soaking if you can find a place out of the wind!
