Surf conditions at 7.20 a.m. on Sunday 7th April 2013:
It's a bit of a duller morning this morning, an almost shadow being cast by the weaker sunrise. Otherwise it is very calm, all quiet and peaceful, a light south easterly breeze noiselessly rustling the marram.
The surf is a foot, maybe a couple of feet on the very biggest sets, all lined up and defined, a little A - frame peak in the usual place, teasing you in. You should have loads of fun on a longboard, especially if you pick the right place at the right time.
And it should build on the incoming tide, a couple of feet this afternoon, maybe twice that by the evening.
Have a great day!
