Surf conditions at 7.20 a.m. on Monday 8th April 2013:
Ooooh, that's good!
Four to five to maybe occasionally six feet of pure hollow heaven is unloading onto the usual breaks. And those breaks are looking good!
That wind of the last how long has been blowing sand offshore and so has shaped some tasty little banks to trip those waves over. And the stream has been quietly gnawing away at the Point too. So there is plenty of shape out there and plenty of swell to keep everyone happy.
There are two guys out catching shoulder high reforms inside the Point and getting long sweeping rights from them but the outside set waves look the best with bigger and clean, curling walls to ride in the light offshore wind.
The weather is milder although a little overcast but the sun is trying to cast a shadow.
Yep, it's looking like a good day of surf ahead and the groms are out of school too! Watch out for some crazy ripping!
