Surf conditions at 7.00 a.m. on Tuesday 9th April 2013:
How good did yesterday get!
It started out good but quickly became unique with churning barrels of somewhere elseness pouring through, good towards high tide, phenomenal on the drop!
It's all a little more normal this morning, still immaculately shaped with a light easterly wind doing its thing but now only a couple of feet.
And it's a damp morning for the first time in ages! A relief from that wind-dried feeling.
It's not raining right now and it is quite brightish so there must have been a bit of a downpour through the night and it looks like we might see a shower or two this morning, maybe.
There's already one out on a longer board catching tail end gliders off the Reef (into the rip) and having fun on those two footish walls, the bigger ones peeling quickly.
With little walling peaks off the back of the Reef, the Point and in the middle, there are fun waves and it is okay, especially on the sets.
And the forecasts are showing another build in swell this afternoon too!
