Medium Onshore wind
Surf conditions at 6.55 a.m. on Tuesday 16th April 2013:
It's a bright 'n breezy one this morning, the air filled with the sound of birdsong, wind and wild surf.
Waves are washing around the bay, pushed and pulled by a still fresh sou' westerly wind, a silver sun burning through the hazy clouds. It's probably six feet plus but all raggedy and bumpy, with little or no shape to interest a wave rider. But there is promise of better elsewhere!
Let's have a look over the headland again at Harlyn......
The 2013 Cornish Riviera Pro-Am Golf Festival tees up over at Trevose Golf Course this morning, the wind offering some tricky conditions for those competing.
'The UK's largest and most popular Pro-Am Festival is a unique expierence for all that play. Featuring wonderful Cornish links courses with stunning views and the very best that the Dutchy has to offer. What makes this event so special is the atmosphere of the event with fabulous golf, Cornish hospitaility, food from renowned chefs and a lively nightlife all rolled into one event.'
It is no wonder why this event is always a sellout!
And of course we send our very best thoughts to our friends in Boston. Good to hear that those that we know are okay and our thoughts to those who suffered.
