Light Onshore wind
Surf conditions at 7.10 a.m. on Friday 19th April 2013:
It's a bright and beautiful morning but the surf ain't all that!
The wind is blowing in from the west north west this morning, quieter than last night but still with enough strength to chop out the swell in the bay. There's four to five feet of wild 'n woolly surf bouncing around and growling onto the rocks this morning. It's not pretty and it's not tempting in spite of the lovely clear weather and all that bright sunshine.
Our only hope is that the forecast lightening of the wind is accurate and that glassier conditions take over later. But that might not be until this evening's tide, or maybe later.
In the meantime, South Coast? Anyone?
