Surf conditions at 6.50 a.m. on Saturday 20th April 2013:
Just occasionally one of 'those' mornings comes along to thrill us all and this morning is one of those!
Rivers of intermingled fog and mist and sunshine are streaming along the lanes and swirling through the hedgerows, soft-focussing the bright, bright sunrise.
The surf is just visible, two to three feet of sheet glass curlers peeling from the fog bank.
It is just a little ledgey, a warp running through the swell, easily cleaned up by an offshore breeze, which is forecast but not here yet. And it won't last long when it does arrive!
But in the meantime it is looking stunning. Half decent, if a little small surf, breaking cleanly with the sky getting bluer by the minute.
Have a good one!
