Light Cross-Shore wind
Surf conditions at 7.20 a.m. on Sunday 21st April 2013:
Following that beaut of a day that we all enjoyed yesterday, this morning is carrying on the bright and mild theme!
But not for long. It is probably going to cloud over soon enough, if only for a while. It should brighten up again by this afternoon though.
The surf is a little bigger than yesterday, two three feet with maybe the occasional bigger looking one, the sky is as clear as yesterday and it feels like it might be as warm as yesterday, later.
Right now the surf is a bit warpy and bumpy, the sets a little crumbly but that is mainly to do with the tide, things should improve on the turn in an hour or two.
The wind is feeling south south easterly right now and although it doesn't seem to be having any effect on that crumblyish surf, you can just see the spray being blown back on those set waves. But the forecast is for light south westerlies coming onshore and that will probably happen soon enough as the tide turns but they shouldn't be strong enough to mess it up too much.
So, it's okay right now, not great but very okay and bright and cheerful too.
