Calm Cross-Shore wind
Surf conditions at 6.50 a.m. on Thursday 2nd April 2013:
Another stunner of a morning is upon us, it's such a shame that the surf is so small!
Six inches to a foot of glassy little waves are dribbling along the shore with no real ambition to them. There is a little peak just off the Point which will probably be fun for an hour or so before the tide moves on. And that's going to be the way of it today, if you catch the tide just as those little swells are tripping themselves up on a sandbank or a lump of rock, then you will probably have an hour or so of good fun. Or you could end up sitting around waiting for that one that never comes!
But that might not be so bad on a day like this, with wall to wall sunshine with blue skies and barely a breeze!
