Surf conditions at 7.10 a.m. on Bank Holiday Monday 6th May 2013:
It's a stunner of a morning that is unfolding around us today.
Bright, bright sunshine has spread itself horizon to horizon, there's barely a breath of wind and the surf is a decent two to three feet of glassiness.
Yep, it is all looking very pleasant for Bank Holiday Monday!
We shall probably 'enjoy' the odd bit of mistiness or even fog at some stage today, hopefully not until tonight but maybe around high tide for a while, although that shouldn't last too long.
Otherwise it is looking like a great day to go for a surf along this little stretch of coastline!
The English Nationals are finishing up down at Watergate Bay today as well. Good luck to everyone for a hopefully great day of surfing and competition.
Well done to Rhys (Barfield) on getting a perfect 10 point ride in the under 18s on Friday and well done too to Toby (Donachie) on getting through a tough heat in the seniors.
If you're heading our way it might be worth dropping in on us to check out some boards and wetsuits that we are having that final clearance on.
New wetsuits and loads of other stock have been arriving ready for another season of fun-in-the-sun (!?), filling our tiny little store to bursting point! So if you're looking for a bit of a bargain, it could just be worth having a little look in!
