4ft Medium Onshore wind *
Polzeath Surf Report Photo
6.45am Polzeath: Contrary to the forecast this morning sees blue sky and sunshine with a fairly strong onshore breeze but no sign of rain. The sea state is chopped up with white water breaking a good 150 yds from the shore, so the paddle out will be challenging without much of a reward. The tide will drop to be low at midday and the onshore wind will strengthen to gale force and the rain will arrive apparently this afternoon. Lots of the sheltered spots will be working later on so you will be able to get a surfing fix if you are prepared to travel, check out Harlyn or the town beaches of Newquay. The outlook for the next few days is that the wind will ease back a little during the next couple of days but staying onshore so that will wipe out any chance of a clean surf here at Polzeath. Come and see us about your new summer board and get that old one fixed, I’ll be in the unit from 9.00 to 12.30 and then from 2.00 to 4.30 call 01208 863962 or email surfescape@gmail.com

About Escape Surfboards
At Escape Surfboards we are dedicated to producing the best surfboards that are going to suit all surfers, no matter what your ability. We have been working on several new designs over the winter that will get the best out of our slack summer waves. As well as refining our already successful designs we have taken a look at what has been going on in the rest of the world and the results are the all new Kiwi Burst which is a new take on the mini-mal/Flying Carpet concept with a wider body and diamond tail. The Kiwi Burst can be surfed either as a single fin, Thruster or Quad and will be sold exclusively through Magic Seaweed. The second board is the Mini-S which is very much a mini-simms design with its distinctive parallel outline, S deck, with hull shaped bottom entry leading to single concave in the tail; surfed either as a keel twin or quad the Mini-S will be a great board for beating the summer small surf blues. We specialize in making boards in either polyester or epoxy resin and can fix your board in almost any construction. Check out our website, www.facebook.com/EscapeSurfboards email surfescape@gmail.com or get on the old blower and call 01208 863962 for anything surfboard.
