Medium Onshore wind
Surf conditions at 6.55 a.m. on Saturday 11th May 2013:
The wind has dropped again from last night but there is still a brisk west sou' wester blowing in this morning.
So the surf is bouncing around in the bay again just ahead of high tide and it's all a bit grey and damp looking, chilly in that wind. But it should brighten up soon enough, staying blustery but with a much brighter sky aiming our way, eventually.
Toby and Micah have been getting decent little waves in all this wind over the last day or two. Have a squint at this to see how it has been: vimeo.com/65927129 . In the meantime, let's have a little gallop over the headland and have a look at Harlyn......
Summer is trying to launch itself at us although it is a bit of a bumpy start so far. But in amongst the storms and that chilly wind of a while ago, there have been those very pleasant, bright and cheerful days, full of promise and hope.
So with that mixture of weather it has been difficult to gauge what stock we should be offering in our tiny little surf store!
Beanies are still as much in demand as sun cream, wetsuit boots and gloves continue to be asked for, while we daren't yet take out those cosy warming thermal rashvests either!
And so our racks and rails are crammed, creaking and groaning with the weight of all that winter stuff and summer stuff too!
But with the arrival of more and more summer stock we do have to free up some more space, if we can.
And so those last few winter wetsuits are having their prices slashed! Along with those vests and beanies and jackets and bodywarmers and scarves (well, scarf! Only one left!). Even those lovely surfboards need to go to make space for some shiny new ones! So there's at least fifty quid off each of them, way more off others!!
Well, you get the idea! We need more space and we need it soon!
So if you're around the area this weekend, why not pop in and see if you can grab yourself a bit of a bargain?!!
