Medium Onshore wind
Surf conditions at 6.50 a.m. on Wednesday 15th May 2013:
How was last night's storm! I'm guessing that there's likely to be some cleaning up going on around the county this morning following those seventy miles an hour winds and all that rain!
It is all calmer and drier this morning, still quite breezy with the wind having shifted to the north west and with the threat of a heavy shower or two not too far away but otherwise a much brighter and cheerier morning.
Shame about the surf though!
The onshore wind is making a real mess of the not very inspiring, mixed up and messy swirl of surf that is washing around the bay this morning. And this wind is onshore at pretty much every break on this coast. So, South Coast anyone?
Have you seen any of the clips and images from Teahupoo (Tahiti) yet? A big and clean swell has been forecast accurately allowing all the guys to get on it (the wonders of modern surf forecasting, eh!).
Check some of the images below!
Toby Donachie and Micah Lester have been getting decent little waves in all that wind that blew last week. Have a squint at this to see how it has been: vimeo.com/65927129
