Surf conditions at 6.35 a.m. on Friday 17th May 2013:
It's a cracker of a morning this morning with a blue, blue sky spreading its brightness over us all. But it is still a bit chilly for mid May!
Although with that massive sun clambering into the sky, the only 4 deg C air temperature should quickly rise.
The surf is glassy but quite small. A foot or two of lazy, rolling glass, a little crumbly, a little weak looking. But the breeze is forecast to be north easterly, offshore at the main breaks and so that might just smarten it all up.
Yep, it looks like a day of pleasant gliding fun-in-the-sun. Maybe a longboard session or two, or dig that fat fish out of the garage? Or borrow one of our BeachBeat demo models!
Whatever, there should be enough clean and glassy little waves out there to give all of you hipster cats a pleasant and fun glide, whatever you choose to ride!
