Surf Conditions at 6.10 a.m. on Wednesday 12th june 2013:
Sorry to all those who follow this report on affiliated sites, a quick Truro run delayed things this morning! Remember it's always up earlier at WWW.CONSTANTINESURF.COM!
There's at least twenty five shades of grey out there this morning and I'm sure that the other twenty five will be along soon enough!
With the wind blustering in from the south sou' west, a little dampness in the air and a three foot mixed up, lumpy but building swell rolling through. last week's sun and fine surf are very firmly no more than a memory!
The surf right now is a mixed up and bouncy three feet or so of sloppy choppy stuff.
Let's have a look over the headland at Harlyn......
And so how about King Kelly (Slater)!?
Massive congrats to him for two perfect tens in his quarters and then taking the crown at the Volcom Fiji Pro. You have to think that he's in with a shout for championship number twelve?
But what then?
And how quiet is it around the area suddenly!? The end of that sunny spell seems to have signalled some sort of exodus.
But then June is always quite quiet.
With Cricket, Football and Tennis on offer elsewhere, the festivals starting to kick in and a few students still dealing with the last of the exams, there are many reasons for skipping a visit to Constantine Bay this month, especially when the weather turns a bit 'iffy'!
But maybe that is the best time to visit?
At least you should get some quiet waves and you never know you could just luck into some okay weather too!
Anyway, if you are down this way, why not drop in on us and check out some of the new stock!?
We are also pushing a bit of stuff on our Facebook shop page and keep an eye out on our Twitter feed and Instagram account too. Look out for some POP UP OFFERS, popping up soon!
