Surf conditions at 6.15 a.m. on Sunday 16th June 2013:
It's clean and glassy around here this morning, smaller looking than I'd expected but sharp and snappy.
Two to three feet of surf is cracking onto the sand, the tide at about its worst, those waves ricocheting almost on top of each other.
It is an option, way smaller than the other side and probably going to shrink yet as the offshore wind starts to take the edge off the swell as it blows into it. There are some fun looking waves out there although you might have to wait for the sets to make it worthwhile.
I think that the other side will sort itself out pretty soon and then that will be the place to head for!
