Polzeath Surf Report Photo
6.45 Polzeath: All looks a bit gorgeous this morning as we are coming towards low water there is not a breath of wind and the air feels warm. There is a very small and clean swell with the odd set giving faces of maybe thigh high. The swell could pick up later as the tide pushes, but the Northerly wind will also kick in so the wave quality could be adversely affected. You need a bigger board to play on these ones, so come to us and take out a mal or mini-mal. The weekend is looking good with a big swell coming in accompanying the strong onshore wind but that will mean a lot of waves in the places which in the summer are normally just places. Come and see us about a board that will be suitable to surf these waves, Fat-Cats Peanuts, Jets, etc will all be good choices and we will guide you through the range. Low water this morning at 8.30 and this evening at 9.00 with high tide at 2.30. Our specialized team can also repair surfboards, SUP’s, kiteboards and windsurfers, in epoxy or polyester construction. About Escape Surfboards
At Escape Surfboards we are dedicated to producing the best surfboards that are going to suit all surfers, no matter what your ability. We have been working on several new designs over the winter that will get the best out of our slack summer waves. As well as refining our already successful designs we have taken a look at what has been going on in the rest of the world and the results are the all new Kiwi Burst which is a new take on the mini-mal/Flying Carpet concept with a wider body and diamond tail. The Kiwi Burst can be surfed either as a single fin, Thruster or Quad and will be sold exclusively through Magic Seaweed. The second board is the Mini-S which is very much a mini-simms design with its distinctive parallel outline, S deck, with hull shaped bottom entry leading to single concave in the tail; surfed either as a keel twin or quad the Mini-S will be a great board for beating the summer small surf blues. We specialize in making boards in either polyester or epoxy resin and can fix your board in almost any construction.
