Surf conditions at 6.25 a.m. on Thursday 27th June 2013:
One to two feet of fun looking surf is crumbling through to the beach this morning, the breeze steadily onshore from the north west but just a breeze.
It's a mild and pleasant morning, the sun gradually separating that early morning haze while the breeze is no more than that.
Those little lines of surf are peeling along and there's the occasional set (you do have to wait for them) that is showing just a little bit of force and style.
Yep, it looks okay for a fun day of gliding in some summer surf!
The Oakley Pro Bali threw up some glorious surfing again last night as we slept our night away.
And massive congrats to Joel Parkinson on taking the title!

Meanwhile for those few of us who haven't managed to get to Glastonbury or Wimbledon, the water is warming up (slowly but surely!), the weather is improving (in spite of the Beeb's conservative forecasting) and our visitors are not yet upon us. And that makes for quiet beaches and relaxed lineups, a chilled vibe around the area. So, hose down the barbee and chill the vino collapso for those post surf evenings on the beach!
And drag out the longboard for a relaxing glide in the sunshine!
