Surf conditions at 6.15 a.m. on Saturday 29th June 2013:
It's a bit of an overcast one this morning, the wind a bit stronger than you would hope for, the temperature a bit lower than you would choose, the surf a bit choppier than you would want.
There's a couple to maybe three feet of bouncy, sloppy and choppy surf rolling in under a pretty grey and thickly clouded sky.
So it's not that inviting!
But most forecasters are showing the weather to brighten, the wind to lighten and the surf to improve - A bit!
Saying that, I can see a bit of blue, just over there.
Let's hope that the surf gets better with the morning tide!
A big shout out to all you happy little festival goers, I'm quite jealous of you lot at Glastonbury this year! What a lineup and maybe not too much mud!?
Meanwhile for those few of us who haven't managed to get to Glastonbury orWimbledon, the water is warming up (slowly but surely!), the weather is improving (in spite of the Beeb's conservative forecasting) and our visitors are not yet upon us. And that makes for quiet beaches and relaxed lineups, a chilled vibe around the area. So, hose down the barbee and chill the vino collapso for those post surf evenings on the beach!
And drag out the longboard for a relaxing glide in the sunshine!
We still have a bit of a GiveAway SALE going on with our surfboards this weekend, so drop in on us if you're around!
