Medium Onshore wind
Surf conditions at 6.15 a.m. on Thursday 4th July 2013:
There's mist and drizzle and mizzle out there this morning but it's pretty mild and kind of cosy in a damp sort of way.
The surf is rolling in at about three feet, those grey waves bumping and clashing into each other as they slosh their way shoreward. It ain't cooking, that's for sure but there are bumpy, lumpy, sloppy and choppy waves if you want to ride them!
It's a couple or three hours before low water right now and so I guess that I'm seeing it at its worst, it could/should improve massively as the tide bounces off low and springs back in for that mid-afternoon high tide. Yep, the size should increase and the wind should decrease pretty much throughout the day.
So HTC could be on but with the wind gusting in from the south west, Harlyn has to be worth a look see!
