Surf conditions at 6.15 a.m. on Thursday 4th July 2013:
At first glance it all looks a bit flat around here this morning but give it a few minutes and you'll see a little set of two foot waves lining up. And, if you peek around the corner, it's just a bit bigger than that as it walls up and roars across the Rock.
But you do have to wait for those ones and it is a long wait!
I'm guessing that it will get a little more consistent later this morning, through midday and into early afternoon as the tide makes its way to high. The wind is okay on it, reasonably fresh right now, pretty much offshore, forecast to weaken in strength through the day.
Yep, it could just be good fun by lunchtime!
