Surf conditions at 6.45 a.m. on Monday 8th July 2013:
It's a bit of a phenomenally gorgeous morning, following a phenomenally gorgeous sunset last night to end a phenomenally entertaining weekend! ('Phe nom enom, doo doo be dooby', as those happy little Muppets might once have said! Okay, yes it's a bit early for all that but I think that takes the bet!).
Anyway, the surf is still rolling through, a decent two feet plus of fairly fat and lazy, glassy rollers are sliding up the beach, the odd one having a bit more energy and standing a bit taller.
The car park is two thirds full (or a third empty?) but there's only a couple or three in surfing. Maybe that's the beach-towel-on-the-sun-lounger routine applied to car parking here?
But it's all peaceful and warm and sunny and pleasant as the tide starts to drop off from high.
Yep, we're in for a stunner of a day with plenty of opportunity to glide across a few summer waves!
Be dooby doo!
