Calm Offshore wind
Surf conditions at 6.15 a.m. on Sunday 14th July 2013:
A thick coastal fog is enveloping us in its warm and cosy silence this morning.
The sun is gently shining through just up in the village, it's a much denser thing down on the beach, visibility down to tens of metres.
But that doesn't stop you knowing that the surf is flat again this morning, a quick jiggle down to the water's edge just proves what you already know, a molten lead mirror is sloshing the shore.
I'm guessing that the sun will burn through soon enough, allowing another hot 'n sunny one but the surf is going to stay pretty flat throughout the day.
Skimboards rule right now!
