Calm Cross-Shore wind
Surf conditions at 6.15 a.m. on Tuesday 16th July 2013:
It's bright and clear and sunny and calm and..... still flat.
Well, there's an almost rideable ripple every now and again off the end of the Point but you would have to have the biggest board and the lightest of feet to glide that slide!
So, the best that we can hope for is the odd ankle high peeler every now and again. The supergroms are going g to be loving life while the rest of us just sink, except for those of us sweeping the sea on paddleboards, or cruising the coastline by Kayak. Those canadian canoes look fun?
But the surf will be back soon enough and all those boatlike things will clutter garages, or fade onto the tops of cars as they stay strapped while the surf breaks.
It might be momentary fun but it ain't surfing!
