Calm Offshore wind
Surf conditions at 6.20 a.m. on Sunday 21st July 2013:
A clear and bright and beautiful morning is spreading itself over the bay again this morning, the sky clear, the sun bright and the breeze light and offshore.
If only the waves were up to it!
There is a frustrating little, tiny swell rolling in, the occasional one footer peeling beautifully to dry sand. With a real good longboard you will still have to have some patience to get those knee high peelers, they're coming in minutes apart.
The tides are getting bigger as that massive moon fills out and that might have a bit of an effect, helping to support that tiny swell through the afternoon.
There might just be a chance of a Sunday afternoon glide on a decent longboard, if you're in the right place at just the right time!
