Calm Cross-Shore wind
Surf conditions at 6.05 a.m. on Monday 22nd July 2013:
It's a hot and sultry one this morning, the humidity level as high as it goes outside of the sea. The air is misty and almost mizzly, the sea fog clinging to the coastline.
You can feel that storm a-coming!
The surf is still miniscule, tiny lines wrapping and curling and peeling onto the beach, so small and so perfectly formed. Every so often there is a shin high wall of glass peeling its way across the sand, getting knee high at its biggest maybe.
The big smiley moon that was hanging low last night is indicating big tides for this week and so there is that chance of a bit of a tidal push on this afternoon's tide. It'll be worth a look anyway.
So it could be a gentle ripple riding surf session in a downpour by then!
