Surf conditions at 6.45 a.m. on Tuesday 23rd July 2013:
It's a dry and brightish morning, a layer of cloud cover keeping things a bit humid. But it's all still and peaceful down in the bay with an oilly swell moving through the glassy sea.
There's a foot or maybe two of swell but if you wait long enough there are some really decent sets rolling across the back of the Reef. It is a bit fat and there's not much breaking on the beach or the Point but the Reef is looking like the best fun we've seen for a good while!
I'm guessing that we'll be enjoying a really decent foot or two plus as the tide drops back off this pretty big high.
Longboard fun at mini malibooby's?
It might be better than that. But watch out for the onshores picking up through lunchtime!
