Surf conditions at 6.05 a.m. on Wednesday 24th July 2013:
It's a lovely morning down in the bay this morning, the fat full moon still hanging over the Reef, peeping out of the bright, cloud-dappled sky. Last night's pitter patter of light rain has made it all a a little fresher than it has been and it's all mild and pleasant.
The surf is rolling in, a couple to maybe three feet of fun waves in a slightly sloppy sea surface, the southerly breeze having some effect already. There's four or five out already, although the tide is a little too high. But they're getting a few, that peak down the beach showing some style.
Yep, it's looking like a fun day of surf ahead of us!
