Light Onshore wind
Surf conditions at 6.30 a.m. on Monday 29th July 2013:
Sorry about the lack of a surfcheck over the weekend, it looks like the site was overhit on Saturday morning and so the control panel imploded. Or something like that.
Anyway, it all seems to be hunky dory for now!
Unlike the surf!
There's a foot or two of lazy slop washing ashore, the south westerly wind light but strong enough to mess it all up. There's a mixed up silver sea this morning, reflecting those silver clouds, the far sky holding bands of faded rainbows, the promise of showers to come.
But it's mild and it's dry and the surf should be more sheltered as the tide rolls in this morning. And a south westerly usually pushes the swell up a it as well.
So, not a day of perfection by any means but we should enjoy a fun surf later!
With only a few days of voting left, Rhys (Barfield) is real close to qualifying in theQuiksilver King of the Groms 2013 comp (#kotg13) so he really does need your vote on his vid to get to the finals!
And don't forget Max (Payne) either!
The boys are real close to qualifying, so get on on over to quiksilverlive.com/kotg/2013/home,vote,289.en.html and vote for Rhys and Max.
There's only a few go through, and they are both sooo close!
