Light Offshore wind
Surf conditions at 6.15 a.m. on Friday 2nd August 2013:
Hmm, I was expecting better for some reason but there is only a foot, well barely a foot, of swell managing to get around here this morning.
That might change but just a little bit as the tide turns in a couple of hours.
Although it is only a five and a half meter tide, there's a lot of swirling water movement going on this week and the surf has been affected by it. It has been way better on the incoming tide everywhere and so it will be here when the tide turns.
But it will still be small, real small.
The other side is the place to go for a surf today, it's just going to be a bit bumpy!
