Light Onshore wind
Surf conditions at 6.15 a.m. on Saturday 17th August 2013:
Well, it's not the tempest that has been flagged up, there is a bit of low cloud cover, one of those 'silver' mornings, but otherwise it's all mild and fine.
The wind is steady, blowing from the south sou' west, putting a bump on the surprisingly small and weak looking surf.
It does look like we'll see an increase in wind strength through the day and that should push some more surf our way. I'd expect to see a doubling in size through the day but it's barely a couple of feet now!
It should be worth a little look later, maybe.
And the B'Bong Pro Tahiti is on!
