Surf conditions at 6.35 a.m. on Monday 19th August 2013:
A fresh west nor' westerly wind is pushing three feet or so of mixed up and broken waves ashore this morning.
Although it's not that great, a grey sea with mixed up and choppy waves right now, there are rideable and maybe fun looking waves rolling in every now and then.
It's a chillier morning as well, a slight hint of Autumn creeping in, although it is forecast to brighten up soon enough.
There's one guy on his way in, another following and I guess that they will find a few bumpy wave faces to ride. It might all improve a little on the incoming tide this afternoon too, a brighter sky already unfolding above us and with the wind forecast to ease off through the day.
Yeah, this afternoon could see a major improvement.
