Surf conditions at 6.25a.m. on Thursday 22nd August 2013:
It's a lazy start to a very warm feeling morning, the sky overcast but not threatening, the surf rolling noisily ashore.
There's a decent three foot swell rolling our way, the lack of any wind making those waves all glassy at high tide this morning.
With the wind forecast to be no more than a breeze (offshore all day!) and the sun forecast to burst through by mid-morning, it is looking very promising to be a fun filled day of two to three feet summer surf!
Wax 'em up, grab some sunblock and enjoy!
I wonder if we'll get our Al Merrick and Lost surfboards delivered today? All the boys are getting a froth on waiting for them!
And good luck to all you groms for your GCSE results!
