Surf conditions at 6.45 a.m. on Sunday 22nd September 2013:
It's a gentle morning this morning with a half decent three foot swell rolling into the bay amidst some low cloud and some clinging sea mist.
With the thermometer reading 17 deg C in the half light of a very grey but hopefully brightening dawn, there's not even a breeze yet and so those waves are glassy and a bit fat and bouncy an hour ahead of high tide.
But full of promise.
Only a breeze is forecast for later and that should be offshore (south easterly) but whether that sun can burn through before this evening, well, maybe.
So, a fun day in decent and clean waves lies ahead!
