Calm Offshore wind
Surf conditions at 7.20 a.m. on Monday 7th October 2013:
It's much smaller than I would have thought around here at the moment. It is just about bang on high tide right now and so it is deep, allowing only the set waves to break but they are only a foot or maybe two.
I guess that there will be a few more waves getting in as the tide drops but it will probably get smaller as the tide moves out too. It may be this afternoon's tide before there is anything worth checking and that is only a 'maybe'.
The other side of the headland is showing some nice waves too but if Harlyn is your thing then it could be worth checking later this afternoon to see if there's anything worth riding.
Otherwise conditions are really nice with that light wind being offshore here and that sunshine starting to shine down the valley.
Yeah, if the swell builds there could just be some fun waves an this evening's tide.
