Medium Cross-Shore wind
Surf conditions at 7.15 a.m. on Thursday 10th October 2013:
That wind is a bit cold!
A brisk northerly is reminding us that Summer should be gone by now!
But otherwise it is a pleasant morning with another sunburst dawn over on the far horizon along with brightening skies.
There's a two to three footish swell rattling to the beach, that northerly wind blowing into those dark lefthanders, holding them tall and steep. It is all a bit close together, that smaller wave period causing a bit of doubling up and tripping over.
Yep, it could just be okay later, especially when the headland provides some shelter from this wind. And that wind could just slip offshore, if only for a while!
This week we have been trying to sort out space for those Winter wetsuits and the usual bits of winter clothing. So that means that some of our Summer suits are going out at 1/2 price! Yep, that's O'Neill, Xcel and Quiksilver Summer suits at 1/2 price!
They are mainly those odd sizes (usually more XS and XL than medium but it could be worth popping in for a gander if you're looking).
And that delivery of new boards seems to be proving popular, so if you are thinking of changing boards anytime soon then you had better get in quick!
