3ft Strong Offshore wind * * *
Surf conditions at 7.20 a.m. on Wednesday 16th October 2013: There are waves around here today and, according to all the charts, it's only going to get better! Right now, in amongst the gloom and murk of a very Autumnal morning there are sets of waves marching against that brisk offshore, two to three feet on the bigger ones, standing tall in that wind before cracking across the sand. It doesn't have that fatness that the other side has this morning and it doesn't have the size either but there is the odd cracking little tubular one racing from the Rock. We can expect it to increase in size throughout the afternoon and so I'm guessing that this is going to be the place to be today!
