Mon 28th Oct 2013 9:00amConstantinesurf's Harlyn Surf Report

5ft Strong Cross-Shore wind * * *
Surf conditions at 6.55 a.m. on Monday 28th October 2013: It was good here for a moment or two yesterday (check Cheyne's shots below)! And this morning is maybe just a bit smaller than yesterday, grinding four foot plus waves at lowish tide, those set waves bigger and darker and more sand filled. It is difficult to get an angle on the size this morning because some of those set waves are definitely beasts but generally the rest of the waves are head high and a bit, some of them just churning inside out, the odd peeler zipping off the Rock, most of them just shutting down. It may all improve as the tide fills in but then the forecasts are showing the wind slipping around to sideshore and then onshore. It will be worth keeping an eye on it but those other super sheltered spots could well be worth having a look at too. There will be some good surf around somewhere today, it's just going to be a case of finding it and finding it at the right stage of tide as well picking the best wind direction too! I can think of one or two options but we'll have to be lucky to get them good!
